Mommy Date

Lilah has had plenty of daddy dates. And finally I thought we should have a mommy date. We never get time alone since Eden has come to this world, so she deserved some mama/Lilah time. We went to see The Very Hungry Caterpillar at the Seattle Children's Theater and get some dinner. Unfortunately, it was a little crazy and rushed. We ended up rushing to get there with all the Saturday Seattle traffic. And there was a concert that evening at Key Arena, and something else going on at Seattle Center. We ended up having dinner after with Lance and Eden because we didn't have time before the play as I had planned originally. Even though we had a fun time and we liked the show, I already called a do over. Better planning on my part for next time. And maybe something more up Lilah's alley - including ice cream. Or maybe that will be it. Getting ice cream. That is for sure her idea of a good date.
