The media has scared us all to think we were pretty much going to be snowed in with 6 inches of snow and freezing temps. It is for sure cold, but our snow was about 2 inches. Lilah and I are definitely snowed in since Lance took the trailblazer and the jetta (again) will be parked and not getting out in the ice and snow. I cannot even begin to think about that a week ago we were basking in 75-80 degree sunshine. That is a little depressing...
But, Lilah and I did enjoy 10 minutes of fun in the snow. She was super excited and then once we were all bundled (snowsuit, boots, coat, gloves, hat) she didn't care for her gloves and didn't care for the snow then to touch her hands. Lilah loves to go outside and asks for it all the time, but once out there she wants me to carry her around instead of just walking around and playing. Needless to say, we don't last long.
Now she is having some yummy mint hot chocolate (she actually downed it in minutes) and I'm finishing up my coffee. She's onto calling Mimi and daddy on one of her maybe five cell phones. There is a pretty in depth conversation going on actually. :)
Happy snow day!
Lilah, you are such a doll baby! Olivia & Nolan love hearing about what you're doing, and looking at all the adorable pictures your mama takes of you. Looks like you had fun in the snow. We got over a foot here this week too, so Olivia & Nolan played in the snow, and went sledding. We hope to see you in the Spring! We love you~
