Dora Toothbrush and Sponge Bob Toothpaste
Lilah's favorite part of her first dentist visit. And, it was a success also. Other than the very heinous fact that she has a cavity at age 3 (that part makes me feel like a crappy mom). How can someone who hardly eats have a cavity? Weird. Anyhow, she did great and ended up walking around like she owned the place (sitting in chairs, asking for different tools and things to play with, talking to all the ladies in the office). She pretty much did own the place since everyone was shocked at how well she did and how cute and sweet she was. She was a very awesome patient. Give her 6 more months though when she has to get a filling, and she might hate that place with a passion. I'm already dreading that time myself. Yikes. But, for now, the dentist was a pretty great place. She even ended the visit pretending to be my dentist, taking notes, telling me to make sure "you go pee pee on the potty or you don't get to come back to the dentist".
She seriously did so good - got those teeth all polished and even sat back in the chair!
Wearing my glasses and taking her "notes"
Celebrating Sarah
This year Sarah chose to do some wine tasting and dinner to celebrate her birthday. So fun! We had planned on doing something like this for my birthday nearly 4 years ago (yikes, time flies), but I had just found out I was pregnant and didn't know how I could fake wine tasting. So at the time I told the girls I was "sick" (partially true). Finally, we got to go. It was a pretty nice day for us and we really had a great time. Most of these girls I have known for about 15 years already! We can sometimes go months without seeing one another, but when we get together it's like it was yesterday. Those are the types of friends you want to keep forever.
"totes" of wine!
Gretchen's face after tasting some strong vodka (I opted out...I don't do the hard stuff..ick)

Granny and Her Girls
This chair is actually only made for one. I can picture this in 10 years - and both girls squeezing into the chair with granny.
Best Baby Award
Goes to Eden. She is the cutest. And such a good baby. Sleeps in the car. Smiles and talks to us all the time. Stays pretty happy most of the time. Sleeps good at night. Love her.
Dilly Bar Celebration
Grampsy's birthday (my daddy) would have been this last April 23rd. We celebrate every year with one of his favorite treats - cherry dilly bars. Yum. We met granny for dilly bars for a little birthday party. Lilah kept asking about grampsy - where is he? is he going to be here (at Dairy Queen)? is he with Jesus?
She definitely loved the celebration (because she loves anything with sugar) and we enjoyed our time thinking and remembering him. Happy Birthday daddy!
Praying for Springtime
Samson and Julie came over for a little outdoor play on a sunny afternoon. We have been praying, hoping, thinking of these days. Samson and Lilah played outside. Lots of bubbles, buckets, pinecones, and running after each other. This summer will be so much fun with the two of these yahoos!
You Rock!!
On a little 4 mile run with the little ladies, on a trail (so not very challenging at all) this is what a cyclist yelled to me. It was super nice, although I don't think my flat run was that rockin. :) Regardless, was nice to hear. And the weather was beautiful, Eden slept the entire time, and I got a workout in.

Date Night
Well, my first "date night" of the weekend I forgot to take any pictures. It involved me, Julie, cheese, crackers, dinner, wine and great conversation. Sorry Mrs. Much...one of us should have remembered to take some photos to document our date night #2, which was a huge success.
My second date night was with my sweet, wonderful hubby. It was just as perfect. Sushi takeout, a movie, good talks, lots of laughs, and girls in bed. Ah.

3 Years
It's crazy to think that I've known these ladies already for almost 3 years. We have a special bond in that we all entered mommyhood together - not having a clue at what we were doing, just trying to survive. Each 2 kids later (and another one on the way), we are still trying to figure it out. But thankfully we keep in touch (even with one miles away) and we are thankful to have each other in our lives for support, encouragement, and friendship.

Cake Pops
I thought of Lilah when naming this blog post. This is what she would like it to be called since this was I am sure I her mind the best part. We got to see. Lot of the ladies and toddlers and babies in our PEPS group today while Jen and her girls are in town. I can't believe we have known each other for almost 3 years! It was a fun gathering, but so funny compared to 3 years ago. Everyone has two kids now and it's much crazier than the days we sat in a circle with our newborns on blankets, singing songs to them. The only real action we had then was an occasional newborn cry. Its humorous now that we do this and actually try to hve a conversation or complete a thought. But, even in this stage, it's really wonderful to have friends that have seen you throughout most of our mommy days.
Binky Elimination Boot Camp Day 1 & 2
So randomly, without even consulting with Lance, I decided to be done with the binkies. Two of the three we still have in this house were nearly bitten into pieces. For some reason Lilah now chews on them and has made some serious holes. When I threw one away telling her how unsafe it was to continue putting this in her mouth, she told me she didn't want her other one. I ran with it and took it and decided we were done. She didn't nap, cried a little, but I didn't give in. I called Lance and told him about my rash decision and texted the binky fairy (aka: daddy/Lance) that Lilah would really like to trade her binky in for an Ariel doll. The very kind binky fairy made a special trip to the Disney store for an Ariel doll. She was so exhausted yesterday that she went right to sleep with no binky, but woke up from about midnight until after 1:00 crying and screaming her head off. She eventually went back to sleep. We are on nap attempt #2 now, and I think she's still awake. Not crying, but awake. Here's a picture of her with her new Ariel doll and her new/used troll that Melanie from community group gave her. She slept with both, and is now in bed with both new treasures. We will see.
Children's Museum
Jen and the girls were here visiting, so we've spent some time with them - gymnastics, Children's Museum and today a PEPS get together. So much fun!
Gymnastics
Lilah absolutely loves gymnastics. It's pretty much some obstacle courses, tumbling, trampolines and a bunch of running around and free play. Right up any kid's alley. Tuesday was our first time with Samson. He cracks me up because he pretty much runs and falls, and just giggles. And even funnier is that Julie dies laughing at him the entire time. I think she might like it more than him. ;)
Even though the picture of us doesn't look like it, they really were having a blast.I look like I'm the only one having fun. Check out little Eden's spikey hair sticking up from the ergo.

Gettin' Fresh
The Rowe boys must be attracted to the spikey hair Eden has, because both of them were trying to get fresh with my little girl. Mark (about 7 months) tried to eat her hair and lick her face (true story, it was hilarious) and Hank gave her a lot of hugs and kisses. Lilah must be old hat because she got no love.

Zoo Factory
A sunny Friday in Seattle= the zoo with good friends!
It was a little hectic going with 4 adults and 8 kiddies - most of whom were exhausted, and not to mention most of Seattle and the Eastside were at the zoo. But, still a fun time with friends. Lilah absolutely LOVES animals, so it was such a great time for her. She could just stay at each area and stare at the animals for hours. We plan to go back maybe as soon as next week so we can spend more time staring at the animals and talking about how "cute" they all are. We ended it with a ride on the carosel, which was a super conclusion as we took 8 sleepy kids home. :)
