Birthday Planning

Yes, I did start early. I've been planning Lilah's birthday in my head for a very long time. I knew I would have the theme be "princesses" because she is our little princess and it screams GIRLS and PINK! The invitations are out, the paper products and plasticware is here, the balloons are in, my mom is working on her high chair decorations, and Emily is sending a package full of fun birthday things. The only thing is coming to the place where I accept that my little baby is almost a year old already. Wow...how that precious time flies.

I'm on a roll....

Woot woot....but now Lilah will be up soon, so I've got to sign off. :) Check back at the end of the week. I'm hoping to put a video on here of Lilah on swings at the park from a few weeks ago when it was so beautiful here...and she loves it.

March Birthday Extravaganza!

That's what I called the Wiley Birthday Celebration - 4 kids and 1 grandpa's birthday makes for a serious party! We had fun celebrating the Wiley birthdays. Lilah loves her uncle Vaughn and loved playing with all the kids' toys (although not sure that they like it when she gets their brand new birthday gifts) and again, screaming at them because she just loves other kids. She wants to be included now and wants them not to forget that Miss Lilah is there!

Playdate Time

Again, better late than never...sigh....
We had a playdate with my best college girlfriends and all their kids. Between the 4 of us we have 5 kids - 4 girls and one little guy.
They're having fun as everyone gets bigger...Lilah pretty much just gets in the kids' faces and screams (she thinks she's saying "hi"). But, now all the girls (Dean's too little yet to be playing) are playing with toys, eating food together and we got some good shots of them all on Jackie's couch. Jackie said we have to continue to do this until they're all in high school...oh how they will love their mothers. ;)

Why am I so bad at this??!!

If you are a regular blog "checker", I sincerely apologize. Now I'm worried that no one even bothers anymore since I haven't updated this for over A MONTH! Ugh! The reason I don't is not only because I'm so busy doing things that really HAVE to get done, but I think about the brain power it takes to do this. ;) Cleaning, working out, doing laundry, cooking...this all has to be done and doesn't require me thinking. I SO LOVE to check other people's blogs, so I know what a bummer it is to check someone's blog over and over to find the same entry at the top. Darn! So, not today, but I do have it on my planner this week a few days to make some time to update the blog with guaranteed funny stories and pictures. Here are a few pictures from earlier this month to hold you over (for the two of you that still bother with my blog). Ha!
